The establishment of this center is a testament to our collective dedication to preserving and sharing the stories of African Americans whose contributions have profoundly shaped the history and culture of South Dade. It is with immense pride that we open our doors to locals and visitors alike, providing a space where knowledge, understanding, and respect can flourish.

At the South Dade Black History Center, we aim to create an educational and immersive experience, allowing visitors to embark on a journey through time, from the struggles and triumphs of the past to the milestones and accomplishments of the present. Through engaging exhibits, interactive displays, and thought-provoking programs, we hope to inspire a greater appreciation for the rich black history of our South Dade community.
